Prayer is a vital part of a believer’s life, it is our mode of commuinication with our father (God).
As believers one of the very important things we must pay attention to are words, it is expedient that we take heed to what we say and even how we say what we say. Prov 18:20
“the power of life and death lies in the tongue”
Words are so important, the very first expression of creation are in words,
Gen 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light:” and there was light. in other words the first expression of the Spirit were in Words.
“The Earth is also upheld by the word of His power – Heb 1:3
JESUS himself at ascension, left us with words
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Words are so valuable that Apostle James refers to taming your words as taming your whole body. In this light Whatever we say has a lot of impact not just on us, but on our listeners also. A wise man once said “you are only responsible for what you say, not what people choose to understand” hence we are to take heed to our words, for we will only account for what we say.
That said, knowledge is another very key thing we are to pay attention to, it is key to wisdom , wisdom is the principal thing, in all your getting, get understanding, Wisdom is which popularly defined by a certain school of thought as the application of knowledge, gives us a lead into how expedient and valuable knowledge can be…
What we know is capable of massively influence our words and activities at large, Knowledge is key folks
Now to the focal point of our discussion. If Prayer fails try Praise; is this a true statement or simple delusion? This is going to be long series and I will to God that you follow through on this series with patience.
First of all we must understand the gravity of this statement and how it places a doubt on the art of prayer, in this statement the assurance and effectiveness of prayer is nullified. we can no longer trust Praying anymore for it gives us the idea that prayer can failed. The question should now be, is this what scripture teaches or what a man void of proper understanding teaches.
