FEATURE ON HEARTSONG ENGAGE CONCERT 2015.

In the order of Life, Man is made to engage in something either Good or Bad. Though Not Pleasant, Man has failed in numerous ways in engaging in things that are truly beneficial to his existence, Man has been trying and still trying to forge a purpose for himself while neglecting the purpose for which He has been made and created; which is to serve and give glory to God “Worship”.

In Man’s way of trying to make a meaning out of life, He Chases Money, Career, Passion, He spends time developing talent and a whole lot of things that are not within the scope of God’s purpose for him. Are We saying doing all the aforementioned is wrong, absolutely not, its ok, but the bad thing is to make it the sole purpose for life. Your life is not just about all that, we need to realise that we are created for a higher purpose. We are created to do something better, God designed us in his image to give him glory and pleasure. We are created to Engage in the “Worship” of God.

Why is “Engage” important?

Standing by the Road side on a Monday morning as parents pamper and pet their children to school, its amazing to see how much love parents and children share. Parents take their children to school to make them learn the basics, Giving them Education. The Parent love their kids so much that they are willing to part with their money and pay an institution for about 22 years, just to give their kids “Sound Education”. Kids at the early stage, love their parents so much that they don’t want to leave their parents for anything, and as they grow, they study hard to make their parents proud, all to show the love.

At early stage of schooling, these kids care-less about everything they are taught, all they think of is their parent. They do not Engage in schooling activities. They are not ready to listen or grasp whatever the teacher is saying but as they grow older in the knowledge and accepting that Schooling is not ending soon, they begin to adjust and get more involved in activties, they become engaged.

A couple have been in a relationship for a while and on a very special date, the guy goes on his knees in a very romantic way and with shiver all over him, He mutters these words “Will You Marry Me?”, the lady is joyed and blushes while speaking “Yes”, and the guy slips a ring in her finger; We all say they are “Engaged”; thats in a western setting, here in Nigeria the process is not that simple but at the end of the process, you are “Engaged”.

The Word Engage applies to virtually everything. Engage is synonymous to “Include”, “Involved”, “Part of”, “Among”, “Within” and a host of words. So, You are either pulling Engage or Engage is pulling you. You are Engaged Either With God or the Devil.

Everything God created is in Worship to God but Man has the sole purpose of Worshiping God. Do not mistake “subduing and replenishing the earth” with our purpose, Worshiping God is the wider and deeper assignment given to man “Colossians 3:23: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”, “Matthew 4:10 – Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve”, also “John 4:24 – God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Therefore, He who must worship God must do so wholeheartedly, without a divided attention. You must be Engaged.

HeartSong Presents Engage 2015…

Engage is an annual worship night hosted by HeartSong, with Eloho Efemuai as program coordinator. Heartsong is a registered charity committed to exhibiting and communicating the love and grace of Jesus through avenues of worship conferences and other activities. Engage is not about a band or solo artists, it’s about creating revival spots of worship, encouraging passionate, unrestrained, God-centred and God-focused worship. We just want our worship to unite and inspire a generation to serve Christ and demonstrate His love.

HeartSong started to host these worship nights in 2011 which was tagged ‘The King and I’, 2012 ‘Worship Like Incense’. But in 2013, the worship night was christened ‘Engage’, and the HeartSong team decided to stick with the theme for future events. Engage 2013 had the following ministers, who took the congregation into the presence of God: Ian White (Perth), Chinelo Dillimono (Nigeria), Sola Okunuga (Aberdeen), Sophia Hamilton (Aberdeen), Eloho Efemuai and Heartsong Worship Team. In 2014, It was “Revealing Jesus” and Now 2015, HeartSong is back again with “Engage”.

Engage 2015, themed “Let Heaven Invade” will feature ministers like Muyiwa and Riversong, Philippa Hanna, Anne & Sophia, Sola Okunuga, Ranan, Eloho and Heart Song on the 22nd of August by 6:30pm at the Music Hall, Aberdeen.

Now this is what the feature is all about, Engage 2015 “Let Heaven Invade”, HeartSong, and Eloho Efemuai.

Recently, a young man by the name Michael Whyte (a gospel artiste) sent a direct message on one of the social platforms and his story was, “I had tried promoting my songs but due to financial constraints, I couldnt do much. But one day I went on a Social Platform and I followed a woman, we got talking and somehow she assisted me with my song promotion. Now, my songs are airing on some Radio Stations in the United States, with a lot of airplay here in Nigeria. She didn’t collect a dime from me, Infact, She doesn’t know my face, my voice, We have never met before”… That’s not the first time such stories of Eloho Efemuai assisting people will tingle ones ear.

Eloho is not just a Worship Pastor, she is a singer, a worshiper, and a Christian recording artiste who sings her heart out for the Lord.
